All Printz Secrets Revealed!
Sit back and get ready to learn all you ever wanted to know about what goes on in the secret rooms of Printz Commitee meetings!
As I may have mentioned a zillion times, I was on the Printz Commitee in 2009 that selected Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta as the Printz Winner, along with four Honor books: The Astonishing Life of Octavian Nothing, Traitor to the Nation, Volume II: The Kingdom on the Waves by M.T. Anderson; The Disreputable History of Frankie Landau-Banks by E. Lockhart; Nation by Terry Pratchett; and Tender Morsels by Margo Lanagan.
What you may not know is that after four years, all requirements for secrecy stop and I can talk about deliberations; what titles were nominated but didn’t make it; who threw tables across the room; what was said about each and every title.

GOTCHA.
APRIL FOOL’S DAY.
Confidentiality and secrecy is FOR. EVER. And that’s a long, long time. So, no, there will be no tales or stories about what happens, what books were talked about, or anything like that.
