2014 Judge: Lauren Oliver
Lauren Oliver is likely composing this bio on her Blackberry while standing in line at the airport, a Starbucks, or possibly the airport Starbucks. For this reason, she is the last person on earth to still own a Blackberry. Her single greatest passion, other than writing, is sleeping; had she been able to make a career out of the ability to fall asleep anywhere and the necessity of getting twelve hours of shut-eye per night, she might never have written Panic, Before I Fall, the Delirium series, or either of her two books for middle grade readers.
