Writers Against Racism: Apricot Brown Book Launch

My new position as the Coordinator of Media Resources & Research has me doing what I LOVE, searching and disseminating information and finding interesting people.

First week back to work is delicious! Lots of new authors and resources to share.

Today, while I was getting acclimated to my new ‘digs’, an e-mail came through about Apricot Brown by Dana Drucker-Solano [Digital Press Kit] whose characters  are inspiring children to get to know the ‘real’ them – on the inside – through diversity.  “Like any pioneer, Apricot Brown faces opposition. Will this opposition break the spirit of her new friends or will they outshine the “haters” by becoming the pioneers of the Remix Generation?”

  1. The book sounds great. And I love your scarf. It’s perfect for you.

  2. Thank you, Bev! I like this scarf, too and Apricot Brown Book is certainly on my radar. 🙂

  3. This is a great book and Dana is an awesome spokeswoman for diversity.
