Preview: Regular Show: Skips #1
BOOM! Studios debuts another new series this week: Regular Show: Skips, which is a spinoff of their regular Regular Show series, based on the Cartoon Network show. In case you’re coming late to the party, the show, which has kind of an Adventure Time vibe, is about a blue jay and a raccoon who are groundskeepers in a park. Here’s the blurb on this one:
No one is more mysterious in the crazy world of REGULAR SHOW than Skips, the park’s enigmatic yeti groundskeeper who always seems to know what’s going on. Finally, we get to see the world from his point of view.
The comic is credited to someone named “Mad Rupert,” but as with all BOOM!’s kids’ comics, there is a stable of solid indy contributors, in this case drawing the covers. Here’s a look at the first few pages; the comic goes on sale today.
