The Picks:

Investigators Volume 1 GN – First Second introduces the super spy alligator duo ready to fight the forces of evil. Mango and Brash are the InvestiGators, secret agents working for the super secret organization S.U.I.T., the Special Undercover Investigation Teams. With their V.E.S.T.s (Very Exciting Spy Technology), know-how, and super-fast transportation system (they flush themselves down toilets to speed through the sewers), they solve all kinds of mysteries, such as finding a missing baker, and thwart the plans of super villains as well as their archnemesis: the former agent known as Crackerdile. Filled with zany situations, puns, potty humor, and hilarious twists, this goofy graphic novel is perfect for fans of Dog Man.

Cat And Cat Volume 1 Girl Meets Cat GN – Papercutz shows the everyday life of a young girl and her cat. Cath was living a quiet life alone with her dad until they adopted a cat named Sushi. Now, everyday is filled with new cat antics as everything, such as the curtains and carpet becomes a personal scratching post, playtime begins after the lights go out, and the cat and mouse game of “love me/leave me alone” keeps Cath and her dad guessing. But they also learn how good it is to have a constant companion who will greet them when they get home and sleep with them at night. This hilarious and heartwarming slice of life is perfect for young readers and cat lovers of all ages.
