Our new posters
My practicum student Jenni Stern and I have been playing with ideas for promoting new and traditional skills we think are important. And we’ve been inspired by my good friend Gwyneth Jones’ Comic Life At-A-Glance tutorial posters.
Says Jenni:
Gwyneth’s posters guide students and teachers to work creatively. Her design is contemporary and eye catching, in the style of a graphic novel. She inspired our Comic Life posters which we hope will be a resource for students throughout the research process. “Five Tests for a Good Thesis” and AASL’s “21st Century Learner” posters are geared towards high school students who are learning how to construct a research project. We’ve added them to our new Research Process Guide and are posting them in our labs and we hope they will remind learners of our expectations as they research, create, share, participate, communicate, and grow.
