Nate’s work on personal security
Don’t you love it when students engage in research that has authentic value and the potential to make a difference?
Nate’s work has promise for use well beyond our little Springfield community.
Last semester, I worked with him as he investigated hacking and computer security. He wrote a thought-provoking paper. The products that emerged from his research– an instructional video and a program that generated a password grid matrix to help folks create and keep track of stronger passwords–are likely to be a lot more sticky than the paper.
Nate is eager to share his work.
I’ve posted his video on our Digital Citizenship/Privacy LibGuide. He is eager for the opportunity to share it with an audience beyond our township. Please feel free to use it with your own communities.
