UN History Project launched
Earlier this month, Harvard University’s Department of History announced the launch of the United Nations History Project.
Supported by the United Nations Foundation, in cooperation with the Harvard Asia Center and the Joint Center for History and Economics, the site aggregates a wealth of materials for researching and teaching the history of the United Nations and other international organizations.
The site features a compilation of syllabi, sample student projects, primary sources relating to the UN and the League of Nations, UN statistics, links to scholarly networks, and a pull-down menu of thirteen major themes each with its own bibliography, timelines and featured sources and graphics.

The project also has a Facebook presence.
If your high school offers global studies, world history, or sponsors a Model UN program, you’ll want to share the news.
