Educational Twitter Hashtags, the infographic (updated)
Compiled By: OnlineCollegeCourses.com
So many of the teachers and teacher librarians I know continue as unconverted. They don’t yet see the value of Twitter as a tool for learning and keeping up. Beyond the walls of their own schools, they have yet to build a PLN.
This new infographic from OnlineCollegeCourses.com offers quick visual reference to the most popular (most tweeted) educational Twitter hashtags and can be a convenient in suggesting conversations for your faculty and administrators to follow and join.

It’s shareable under a Creative Commons license. I’ve just posted it on our Professional Development Guide and will print and laminate it for my office.
Note that #tlchat made the word cloud. It’s in purple, in the middle, toward the bottom.
But hey gang, can’t we make it bigger?
For more information about educational hashtags, see Cybraryman’s list, which includes those tags less tweeted, and his list of Live Educational Chats on Twitter.
And please remember our own live #tlchat is coming around again on Monday, October 12th at 8 PM Eastern. You can vote for the topic of the evening.
