Teaser: We Were Liars
Yes, it’s December; and yes, We Were Liars by E. Lockhart (Delacorte Press, an imprint of Random House) isn’t available until May 2014. (ARC from publisher).
And yes, you are going to want this one.
Why? Without being all spoilery?
This is the story of Cady. Cady, nearly eighteen, had a terrible accident two years before. She is still recovering, still not herself. Cady is hoping that a summer spent with her three best friends, the “Liars,” will make things better. Or, that it will be a start to being the person she used to be.
Love, friendship, loyalty, family. Cady thinks her summer will be about healing and friendship, brought to her by being with those she loves. Instead, she is going to learn the truth about herself.

This is a beautifully layered book that is going to get a lot of people talking. Which is code, in part, for “so will be great for book discussions.’
Don’t worry, closer to the publication date I’ll post something more. But, having just read We Were Liars, well, I couldn’t wait.
