Edublogs Awards 2010
Nominations are now open for the 7th annual 2010 Edublogs Awards.
Think of this event as an opportunity to celebrate your favorite blogs, but more importantly, as an opportunity to discover and explore outstanding blogs and also tweeters and podcasters and wiki owners and hosts of online communities and media producers you have never heard of before.
Here are the deadlines:
- Nominations close Friday 3 December!
- Voting ends Tuesday 14 December!
- Award Ceremony: Wednesday, 15 December!
Here’s how you can participate:
Step 1: Choose the sites that you want to nominate in the following categories (you can nominate for as many, or as few, categories as you like):
- Best individual blog
- Best individual tweeter
- Best group blog
- Best new blog
- Best class blog
- Best student blog
- Best resource sharing blog
- Most influential blog post
- Most influential tweet / series of tweets / tweet based discussion
- Best teacher blog
- Best librarian / library blog
- Best school administrator blog
- Best educational tech support blog
- Best elearning / corporate education blog
- Best educational use of audio
- Best educational use of video / visual
- Best educational wiki
- Best educational podcast
- Best educational webinar series
- Best educational use of a social network
- Best educational use of a virtual world
- Best use of a PLN
- Lifetime achievement
Step 2: Write a post on your own blog linking to:
- The Edublog Awards Homepage
- The blogs & sites that you want to nominate (must be linked to!)
You can nominate:
- For as many categories as you like,
- But only one nomination per category,
- A blog (or site) for more than one category
- Any blog or site you like but not your own blogs (sites)
You may also choose to follow the action:
- Follow edublogs on Twitter
- Subscribe to the Edublog Award blog via our RSS Feed or email (add your email address to top right sidebar)
- Like Edublogs on Facebook
