Summer SYNC Line-up announced
SYNC is back. So make sure your favorite kiddos have their ear-buds ready for reading this summer. Please also share this news with your favorite teachers.
Beginning on May 15, the SYNC program, associated with the Audiobook Community, will offer teens weekly selections of free digital audiobooks pairings. Each audiobook pair consists of a current YA title and a thematically connected classic or frequently studied title.
Titles are delivered as MP3s, hosted by OverDrive, and are both Mac and Windows compatible. Each audiobook will be available for download for a period of 7 days. But, once downloaded, books may be listened to anytime. Teens may sign up for email alerts, text messages or Facebook updates on this SYNC page.
A toolkit of resources, including promotional materials will be available for educators, librarians and bloggers. (Currently, the page lists the 2013 program titles.)
