I dare you NOT to share! (So many AASL School Library Month goodies!)
It’s just the beginning of School Library Month. Tweet it out!
If you happen to be struggling for a few new ways to celebrate, don’t worry. AASL has been doing some seriously creative thinking about how we might use the month of April to celebrate the 2016 theme: the essential role that strong school library programs play in transforming learning.
You may want to prepare by learning a little about the history of School Library Month.
Plan your April advocacy with the official calendar of activities, filled with author/ambassador quotes, professional development links, an interactive calendar and suggested activities for each day and for various grades.

My absolute favorite goodie this year is the personalized school library snapshot infographic designed to
help you demonstrate the many ways that you support learning in your school. It can be shared with administrators, school boards, local and state lawmakers, parent organizations and others. You can print copies to distribute or share it electronically and via social media.
I know you can find fabulous pics to fill and refill this collage and I know you can use it well beyond April. (Think annual report. Think central office. Think the mall.)
