Battle of the Books

This Week’s Peanut Gallery

Posts of the Week

So I’m enjoying the Battle of the Kids Books, but in comparing it to the Morning News Tournament of Books, I do find it lacking in the commentary department. The judges give you their experience of the book, so I’d like the commentators to connect the decisions to trends and issues in the field of kidlit … instead of just saying whether they agree or disagree.

  1. I am so happy that OKAY FOR KNOW won I loved the narrators voice during the book and how you really got a feel for Dug. Although okay for know won i am so mad that between shades of gray lost because it was such a great book and had me crying a lot. But I would have been if either won. I felt that they where both very different books though Okay for know had me on the floor laughing but between shades of gray really got to my heart and had me crying so hard. BUT I STILL LOVE OKAY FOR KNOW AND THIS REALLY WAS A BATTLE BUT I FEEL OKAY FOR KNOW REALLY DID EARN THIS WIN. 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 ) 🙂 🙂

I would DIFFENTLY recomand both books
