Brackets (Now with Judges) Revealed! (And a Few Other Announcements)

So there you are, our 2013 judges. Awesome, right?  And below are the updated brackets with just what they are judging revealed. What do you think? Let us know in the comments!

Tomorrow the Undead Poll opens so start preparing to lobby, tweet, and otherwise get the vote out for your favorites!

Then we’ve got a treat in store for you — a series of posts featuring our contenders arguing passionately as to why any one of them should be this year’s winner courtesy of the Battle Commander’s Book Blogger Club for 5th to 8th grade students.

  1. Very, very exciting, you guys! Are you going to post the new bracket to the “Downloadable Graphics” part of the site? I feel like a cheater doing the right-click/capture thing with this, but I’d like to put it with the rest of our BoB display.

  2. Very excited to see what the Book Bloggers come up with!

    Sam, we are shortly:)

  4. I’m starting to feel the pressure to get these books finished! I’ve finished 10, and I’m halfway through # 11 and 12. I can do this!

  5. Thanks, Roxanne/Monica! =)

  6. Steffaney Smith says

Ready for battle! I outdid my previous years’ prep by actually reading alot of the 2012 books throughout the year (instead of reading them in 2013 after all the “best” lists come out!) So, I do have some favorites, but am MOST excited for the author/judges comments! Not to put any pressure on the 2013 judges, but last year’s judges were SO eloquent and astute in their comments! Thinking about my “return from the dead” choice!

  7. will there be the two kid commentators back or is it just these book bloggers? really loved the 2 kids they were phenomenal!!

  8. Battle Commander Battle Commander says

The two Kid Commentators are returning!

  9. Very glad the Kid Commentators will be back — they were absolutely terrific!

PDF of the brackets is now available at both the Brackets and Downloadable Graphics pages.
