Digital and Media Literacies at the NCTE Annual Convention

A week from tomorrow the annual convention of the National Council of Teachers of English kicks off in Las Vegas. Among the countless sessions that will be devoted to literature, media, technology, and other topics of interest for librarians and media specialists, here are those that are specifically sponsored by the Media and Digital Literacies Collaborative. An open group, the “MaD Lit” Collaborative welcomes all NCTE members and can be contacted via Twitter by everyone else.

In terms of the quality of these presentations, I think I’ve seen nearly all these speakers in action, or presented alongside them, or both, and so I can personally vouch for their merit without even knowing too many of the details. So if you’re in Vegas I highly recommend you seek out these sessions or  follow up with the Collaborative to find out whether the content is, or will be, otherwise available.
