K12 Online Conference: Don’t miss it!
In the ed tech universe, many of us have been awaiting this year’s K12 Online Conference: Amplifying Possibilities.
This is a conference by educators for educators around the world interested in integrating emerging technologies into classroom practice. A goal of the conference is to help educators make sense of and meet the needs of a continually changing learning landscape.
This free virtual annual professional development event spans the next three weeks. Presentations appear in the form of streamable or downloadable audio or video clips, with each workshop lasting about 20 minutes. Presentations are archived so that you may return to them later or visit sessions from previous conferences. Scheduled live chats allow participants to also connect real time.
The preconference keynote for this completely online event is scheduled to be posted today, Monday, October 13. Professor Stephen Heppell presents It Simply Isn’t the 20th Century Any More Is It? So Why Would We Teach as Though It Was?

Check here for a full conference schedule. (Please note that all dates and times are listed in UTC/GMT times.)
Those of us who recognize the names of this distinguished, international cadre of educator/presenters will rush to connect.
For those who cannot or do not get out much, this is a unique opportunity to learn from experts, especially experts who really do. It is also an opportunity to learn about the new powerful potentials for distance professional development.
