SafeShareTV and Quitetube (for noise-free portal video)
If you love using YouTube videos for learning and . . .
- you are occasionally embarrassed by unexpected comments and related videos
- you want to share a clip of a longer video and don’t have the time to bring that video into editing software to chop . . .
you’ll likely find SafeShareTV a very handy tool.
SafeShareTV is not a solution for YouTube filters. It is simply a strategy for presenting and sharing videos with students, school boards, and colleagues–without unexpected distractions.
How does it work? Simply paste the url of any YouTube video into SafeShare.TV. You have the option of dragging a handy bookmarklet to your toolbar.
Also check out Quietube, which doesn’t clip, but also effectively removes the noise you find on film portals, placing your newly quiet video on either a white or black background. Quietube also offers a convenient toolbar button or bookmarklet.
